“Postera” from Azienda Agricola Manara is an Amarone Classico made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 10% Croatina, Oseleta, as well as other varietals. A quality Amarone to drink together with grilled meat, game or strong cheeses.

Azienda Agricola Manara “Postera” is an Amarone Classico made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 10% Croatina, Oseleta as well as other varietals. The grapes grow on a wineyard above Mirabele, in the heart of tha Valpolicella Classico district in Marano. The name “Postera” comes from the local dialect and refers to the fact that the vineyard is exposed to the sun the whole day. The drying process takes approximately 3 months. The grapes are then slightly crushed and and let to ferment slowly in steel tanks for 40-60 days. The wine is then aged for 18 months in Slovenian oak barrels and then another 18 months in steel tanks. The finished wine is bottled and stored another 6 to 12 months.
