Presentation vineyard

Azienda Mario Giribaldi was founded in the early 1900s and it's now the 3rd generation running the family business. Respect for tradition and pride of today representing what the previous generations have created, are the values ??that lie at the winery near the heart. The establishment is located in the heart of the Langhe region in Piedmont. The farming is ecologically active since 1998 and covers areas in several municipalities; Diano d'Alba, Montelupo Albese, La Morra, Alba and Novello. The vineyards are mixed with hazelnut crops along the road from Alba towards Rodello at 500 meters altitude. The winery produce most of Piedmont's typical types of wines - both red and white - with Barolo and Barbaresco representing the most premium wines. The wines of Mario Giribaldi are regularly praised in international wine guides.

Sommelier's advice

A straw yellow color with golden-green shades; The nose is discret, but present fruitiness. The palate is fresh with pleasant acidity and aromatic notes of sage, exotic fruits and melon. A smooth and full flavor finish. To serve as an aperitif or to pair with various fish dishes.

The grapes are grown in San Lorenzo in the municipality of Rodello on an area corresponding to 1.2 hectares of land, at 390 meters altitude exposed in the east-southeastern direction. The vines are trained according to the Guyot method.
