Berlucchi – ’61 Rosé Franciacorta is produced from Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%), cultivated in the most suitable vineyards of Franciacorta’s 19 different municipalities. The grapes are harvested the second part of August. The grapes are then gently and progressively pressed and the must is fermented in steel tanks. The pinot noir grapes macerate with the skin (before the skin is separated from the must) a few hours to give color and aromas. In the springtime, the wine is bottled and the second fermentation starts. The wine is stored with the yeast residues for 24 months and then another 2 months after the degorging.
