Ca’ Bianca – Barolo – Red wine – produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The grapes are harvested in mid-October exclusively by hand. The grapes are then placed in boxes and moved to the wine cellar. There they are de-stemmed and crushed and then vinified in vertical steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The grapes are fermented and at the end of the fermentation the grapes are macerated for another 20 days with their skins. The wine is then pressed and transferred to steel tanks where it is stored for 2 months. The wine is then transferred into French oak barrels and various other new and already used barrels. The wine is stored for at least 24 months. The final wine is then assembled and bottled. The wine is then matured for another 6 months in the bottle before sale
