Campo al Mare – Bolgheri – Red wine is made from 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The grapes are grown on the vineyard’s estates around Bolgheri in sandy and clayey soil. Fermentation is done in steel tanks and the maceration takes about 4 weeks. The wine is aged for at least 7 months in oak barrels before being bottled.
