Brunello di Montalcino Casanova di Neri was manufactured for the first time as late as 1978, but has quickly made a name both locally in Italy and internationally. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese (Brunello) and the grapes are hand-picked in late September to early October. The wine is stored in oak barrels for 3.5 years before it is bottled and is then stored another 6 months before the wine goes on sale.
