The red Pessac-Léognan from Château Bardins is made from 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are grown in a typical “Graves-stony” field with a calcareous ground, over 8.25 hectares of land. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented for 3-5 weeks at controlled temperature. The wine has been stored for one year on oak barrels, of which 1/4 part in new barrels.
