The white Pessac-Léognan from Château Bardins is made from 1/3rd of Sauvignon, 1/3rd of Sémillon and 1/3rd of Muscadelle. The grapes are grown in a typical Graves stony land with a clayey ground layer over only 35 ars of land. The grapes are harvested by hand and removed from their bunches. The grapes are then macerated with their skin to extract as much of aromas as possible, then pressed and fermented on oak barrels. The wine is stored for 7 months on its lees and regularly stirred (batonnage).
