Château Coufran is often called the "Pomerol in Médoc" since it's mainly produced from Merlot grapes. A ripe palate with a touch of blackberries, smoke, bacon and blackcurrant. To pair with grilled meat.

Château Coufran is made from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Merlot grapes are harvested a little before the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Classic vinification in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The alcohol fermentation is followed by the malolactic fermentation. Only 2/3rd of the production is selected for the composition of the final wine. Storage takes place on oak barrels for one year, of which 1/4 part is renewed every year.
