Château de Pressac – Saint Emilion Grand Cru – Red wine is made from 77 % Merlot, 11 % Cabernet sauvignon, 9 % Cabernet franc, 2 % Carménère och 1 % Malbec. The wine growing is conducted on 36 hectares of land. Manual harvest in wooden boxes. Triple sorting of the grapes – 2 on vibrating tables and a 1 optical thinning. Maceration for 2-5 days at low temperature. Fermentation with regular pigeage and remontage for 18 to 24 days. Malolactic fermentation, partly in oak barrels. Storage on oak barrels, of which half are new, for 18 months.
