Petit Bonheur from Château Fonsalade means little well-being, a good description of this full-bodied wine with hints of ripe blackcurrant and sweet tobacco.

Petit Bonheur from Château Fonsalade is made from 60% Grenache-, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre grapes. The grapes grow in a very special and diverse soil consisting of clay, limestone and schist covered with round stones. The grapes are macerated after harvest for 3 weeks in temperature-controlled concrete tanks and are let to ferment for 2 weeks at 17-20 °C temperature. This is followed by the malolactic fermentation. The wine is stored on its lees for 8 months before being bottled.
