Chateau la Mascaronne is located in Le Luc in Provence, approximately 30km from the Mediterranean coast. The owner, Tom Bove from Indiana in the United States, is also known to be the person who sold his Chateau Miraval to the couple Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie a couple of years ago. Today, with the deliberately limited production and focus on quality, Tome Bove puts all his energy into Chateau la Mascaronne.

Sommelier's advice

A beautiful pomelo rose color, slightly darker than traditional rosés from Provence, but with a beautiful and lively intensity. Complex aromas of red fruit, mainly cherries and raspberries that turns into buttery notes of vanilla. A round, fruity taste attack with elegant touches of toast coming from the oak aging. A long final with finesse reminiscent of sweet almonds.

The rosé wine "Cuvée Guy da Nine" from Chateau la Mascaronne is made of Ugni Blanc- and Mourvèdre grapes grown in calcareous clay soil. The harvest is done manually and the grapes are let to macerate for a few hours before being gently pressed . A part of the wine composition is fermented directly into new French oak barrels.
