Château Thuerry – Le 21 rosé is a light pink Provencal quality rosé that got its name from the fact that, in the United States, at the age of 21 people come of age to drink wine. The wine is made from 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault grapes. The grapes are harvested at night and thinned. They are then let to macerate at low temperature after harvest for 4 hours in stainless steel tanks. The grapes are then pressed slowly at low pressure in order to preserve the aromas in each grape variety. The fermentation takes place under controlled temperature. This is followed by a 4-month storage on the bottom set to create roundness and fullness.
