Presentation vineyard

Le Clos Fornelli is located in the village of Tallone, at the foot of the Castagniccia massif, where the vines benefit from an ideal microclimate between the sea and the mountains. Josée Vanucci-Couloumere, the current owner, took over her father's property with her husband Fabrice in 2005. In 2009, she also planted biancu gentile and minustellu on the property.

Sommelier's advice

A deep purple color with bright ruby red hues. The nose is expressive and reveals aromas of red berries and violets with elements of Corsican steppe (maquis) that combine hints of black berries (myrtle and blackberries) with spices (nepita).

Clos Fornelli – Tradition is made from the local grape Niellucciu. Agriculture is organic. The grapes are harvested by hand and the winemaking is done on a small scale according to the classic method. The storage is done in concrete tanks.
