Contesa – Vigna Corvina – Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – Red wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in Collecorvino in calcareous soil. Harvested in early October. The grapes are destemmed and allowed to ferment for 5-7 days. The must is then pressed and the wine is aged in steel tanks before being bottled.
