Domaine Boudau – Muscat de Rivesaltes. ‘Muscat de Rivesaltes “is perhaps the wine that Roussillon is historically best known for. These wines are made of Muscat grapes according to a method where distilled alcohol is added to the wine in order to stop the natural fermentation of the grapes. This raises the alcohol content slightly compared to regular wine, but preserves the sugar and flavorings. Domaine Boudau’s Muscat de Rivesaltes is made from 100% Muscat of Alexandria cultivated in Salses Espira de l’Agly.
