Presentation vineyard

The history of Domaine Boudau began in the 1920s. The entire wine production went at that time to the production of the, for the region, so typical and sweet Rivesaltes and Muscat de Rivesaltes wines. The production of dry wines started in the 1940s. At that time, grenachevines from the well reputated Chateauneuf-du-Pape was brought to the property. This was the start of the production of Côtes-du-Rhône-inspired wines, but including the typical characteristic elements given by the Roussillon soil. Today it's Veronique and Pierre Boudau who run the family business and with great efforts in both quality improvement and in the cultivation of new varieties, the winery can now offer very competitive and high-quality wines. A beautiful golden yellow color with light green hues. Powerful but elegant flavors of apricot, melon and fresh grapes. A long and full-bodied taste with hints of honey, despite its dry character. Light and fresh with a pleasant subtle bitter aftertaste. Perfect for appetizers, to salads and other cold dishes. Suitable for various kinds of salmon. To try with a goat cheese !
