Presentation vineyard

The Domaine Colbois is located in the Auxerrois district of Burgundy, more precisely in Chitry. It's a family estate of winegrowers since four generations. The property includes today 20 hectares of vineyards located in Chitry and Chablis. The grapes are used for the production of Burgundy Aligote, white, red and rosé Burgundy Chitry, Chablis and Chablis Premier Cru. The agriculture is conducted in respect for the nature.

Sommelier's advice

A rather intense red color with purple hues. The nose is complex with smoky hints of black berries and spices. The taste is round and full-bodied with soft tannins. A long finish of black berries. A Burgundian Pinot Noir to serve with red meat or cheese board

The vinification and storage of the wines is primarily made in termo-controlled stainless steel tanks, bringing modern technology to traditional production methods. Bourgogne Chitry is vinified in stainless steel tanks and then stored for 12-15 months, partly in steel tanks and partly in oak barrels.
