Domaine Durieu – Côtes du Rhône – Pont de Pierres – Red wine is a powerful yet soft wine with a slightly pronounced but pleasant sweetness. It is a typical wine from the” South “with a lot of personality that goes well with many different kinds of dishes. Unlike some other Côtes -du-Rhône wines, Durieu has used a relatively large proportion of Carignan grapes. The wine is made of 50% Carignan, 20% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Cinsault. The grapes ferment for 20 days with daily stirring (remontage). The wine is then stored for 9 months in concrete tanks before being lightly filtered and bottled.
