Plan de Dieu from Domaine Durieu is a full-bodied, powerful and a bit jamy red wine with hints of spices and Provencal steppe (garrigue). The wine is made from 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Cinsault and 10% Carignan. The vinification is done separately per grape variety in enamelled steel tanks. The fermentation takes 20 days with 2 mixes (remontages) per day. The wine is then stored in a concrete tank for 14 months before it is easily filtered and bottled.
