Presentation vineyard

Domaine la Croix Belle is a family vineyard since 200 years, located in the small village of Puissalicon 10-15 km north of the town of Béziers. Today it's Jacques et Françoise Boyer who own and control the winery. Already in 1977, they made the decision not only to take over in the footsteps of the ancestors, but also to focus on quality. This meant planting of new grape varieties and vines, improvement and development of the ancestral cultivation technology, and a significantly lower extract from the press. A larger and improved wine cellar was also included in the novelties.

Sommelier's advice

A deep purple and brilliant color. The nose is complex with aromas of black berries, coffee, moka and spicy elements of mainly black pepper. A full-bodied and velvety palate with a fresh attack of black berries (blackberries, blackcurrants). Slightly smoky tones. To serve to flavored meat dishes such as duck breast, various game dishes or preferably a lamb steak.

N ° 7 from Domaine la Croix Belle is made from no less than Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot, Carignan and Cinsault. The grapes are harvested by hand and thinned. Classic, long fermentation of each grape variety with open steel tanks. Each grape variety and the grapes from each part of the vineyard are monitored separately. The wines are stored for one year on oak barrels.
