Domaines Bunan – Bélouvé – Côtes de Provence – Red wine is a “classic” Côtes de Provence. The wine is grown in an area located between Cadière d’Azur and Le Castellet, in Var, in the region of Provence. The winemaking is done according to the same process as Bunan’s exclusive Bandol wines. Bélouvé in red is produced from 22% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, 27% Syrah, and 26% Cabernet. In the 18th century, the property belonged to monks who vinified “Bélouvé” which in Provencal means “beautiful grape”. The vineyard is surrounded by olive trees and Florentine cypresses and the place radiates peace and quiet. The vineyard was rebuilt by the Bunan family in 1978.
