An elegant Madiran with complex aromas and silky palate with fine oak barrel aging.

Famille Laplace – Château d’Aydie – Red wine is made from 100% Tannat grapes from vines with an average age of 30 years. The vines are planted on slopes of clayey limestone (Terroir de Saint Lanne), clayey gravel (Terroir d’Aydie), clay with pebbles (Terroir de Moncaup). The grapes are harvested manually and are macerated before fermentation at 10-12°C for 5 days in large wooden vats (cuve de bois tronconique). Long fermentation of 25 to 30 days. Winemaking temperature varies from 25°C to 30°C. Extraction by pigeage and remontage.
