Jas des belles from Grandes Serres is a red Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages produced from Grenache and Syrah. "Jas" means camps in Occitan and refers to the small stone huts that are often erected as shelter for the shepherds. The Shepherd wives were often called "les belles". The grapes in this wine are fermented in temperature controlled steel tanks for 3 weeks with daily stirring (remontage). The finalized wine is stored for 10 months on steel tanks.
