Presentation vineyard

J. Denuzière was founded in Condrieu, already in 1876, but was acquired by the Picard family in 2003. The winery includes 10 hectares of land and has also a negoce-activity in the prestigious appellations of the northern part of the Rhône Valley (Rhône Septentional) such as Cornas, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, Cote-Rotie and Condrieu. The speciality of the winery has therefore become the Syrah and Viognier grapes.

Sommelier's advice

A golden yellow color with silvery hues. The nose bears hints of yellow fruits such as peach and apricot, accentuated by hints of sweet vanilla. The palate is round but with nice freshness. Light hint of honey and fine bitterness at the end. To serve as an aperitif, for grilled scallops or for a Porcini mushroom risotto.

Condrieu from J Denuzière is a dry and exclusive white wine produced from Viognier, grown in the municipality of Vérin. The wine has been partly stored in oak barrels, without exaggeration to maintain a fruity freshness and elegance that you only get from the Viognier grape in Condrieu.
