La Madonnina – Toscana Rosso – Red wine made from Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The grapes are grown in clay and sandy soil around Bolgheri. The harvest is made from the second week of September until the first of October. The grapes undergo a skin maceration for 14 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then transferred to oak barrels and malolactic fermentation is carried out. The finished wine is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
