La Réserve de Malartic – Red wine is the second wine from the well-known Château Malartic-Lagravière in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The wine is made from Merlot (82.6%) Cabernet-Sauvignon (12.3%) and Petit-Verdot (5.1%). The grapes are harvested by hand and cleaned twice on a cleaning table. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks for 21-23 days. The wine is aged traditionally, of which 25% in new French oak barrels for 15 months. The wine is produced by oenologist Eric Boissenot.

This is a 2nd wine from Chateau Malartic-Lagravière, "Grand Cru classé" de Graves. One of the better Pessac-Léognan wines, fruity and rich with a lot of elegance!
