Latium Morini – Valpolicella Ripasso DOC “Campo dei Ciliegi” – Red wine is made from 70% Corvina- and Corvinone- , 20% Rondinella grapes, and 10% of various other kinds. “Ripasso” is an appellation associated with Valpolicella. What distinguishes “Ripasso” is that the wine has been fermented with yeast residues from the exclusive Amarone wines. This has as result that the alcohol content is higher than normal and that there is more power in the taste. “Campo dei Ciliegi” has received several awards from “Decanter”.
