Madame de Beaucaillou is an accessible wine from the prestigious Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, launched as a tribute to Madame Eugène-Borie, a woman of importance to Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. The wine is produced by the same team as those who produce the exclusive 1st wine. The 2019 vintage also represents the 300th harvest made by Château Ducru-Beaucaillou.
The wine is made from 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. The wine has been stored for twelve months in Bordeaux-barrels, of which
20% of them are new and the rest are used once.
