A Nebbiolo with a full-bodied and structured taste, with sweet tannins and good length.

Marchesi Alfieri – Costa Quaglia – Red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The harvest is done manually in boxes at the beginning of October. 1-1.2 kg of grapes are extracted per vine. The grapes are selected and sorted on sorting tables, followed by a light destemming. The fermentation with skins is done in a horizontal steel tank for about 15 days at a maximum temperature of 28 °C. The malolactic fermentation is done in wooden barrels. The wine is then stored in 25-liter barrels and in 500-liter French oak barrels. It is then bottled and stored for some time at a controlled temperature of 15 – 18 °C. 5,000 bottles are produced annually.
