"Bussia" is a Barolo from Prunotto with complex aromas of flowers and red berries. Textured, but soft tannins. To pair with an entrecote with truffle oil-sprinkled polenta.

This Barolo from Prunotto is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in Bussia di Monforte d’Alba. A historic wine produced for the first time by Prunotto in 1961. The heterogeneous exposure of the vineyard, from the southwest to the south, as well as the traditional storage of large barrels, improves the balance and complexity of the Nebbio grape. The harvest is usually made at the end of September. The grapes are lightly crushed and then fermented for 15 days at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C. The malolactic fermentation is completed before the end of winter. The storage is done on oak barrels of different sizes for 18 months.
