Blanc de blancs from Ruinart is made from 100% Chardonnay with 20-25% of reserve wine, ie a mixture of wine from the 2 previous vintages. The wines are mainly 1er Cru wines grown in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, which are well known for their elegance. To them is added wine from Sezannais which has made itself known for its roundness and fullness and not least wines from the northern Vallée de la Vesle that add acidity, freshness and lightness.
