Percarlo is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes from vines growing on the 8 best located hectares of land out of the property’s total 30 hectares of land. The harvest was carried out from the 3rd until the 9th of October. The fermentation of the grapes took 34 days before the wine was added to 225 L and 500 L French oak barrels as well as 30 hl barrels for 22 months. The finalized wine was the bottled in March 2017 and then stored again for another 15 months. The wine is not filtered.
