Tenuta di Vaira – “Ballerine” – Rosso di Toscana – Red wine is produced by 50% Sangiovese grapes, 40% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. The grapes are harvested in “baskets” containing 18kg of grapes which simplifies the sorting. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and the final wine is stored for another 6 months in steel tanks.
