Nadir from Tenuta Rapitalà is produced from Syrah grapes grown in calcareous clay soil at 450 meters above sea level. The harvest is done in mid-September and the grapes are cool macerated for 3 days before the actual fermentation begins. 20% of the wine undergoes the malolactic fermentation in oak barrels for 4 months. The wines is then blended together and stored in steel tanks for a year before being bottled.
