Villa Sparina – Montej – Red wine was first produced in 2004. The cuvée is made from mainly Barbera grapes, grown in a south-southwest direction, 300-320 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested in October and are fermented in stainless steel tanks at 25-26°C. The fermentation lasts for 2 weeks. This is followed by malolactic fermentation.
