Wine tasting with international business leaders in Nice

The other day, Ivinio moved outdoor to the center of Nice, more precisely to "Café Léa" on rue Gioffredo. This cozy little restaurant celebrated its first anniversary the same day! It is run by a charming couple, Nadia & Nicolas. She's from Paris and he's from Franche-Comte. Nicolas who previously worked in star retaurants handle the kitchen and Nadia takes care of the seerving. The cuisine is based on fresh, local products, sublimely tranformed into dishes with personal style.

We had prepared a wine tasting of 6 different wines; a Champagne from Louis Brochet, a Sancerre Domaine Godon, Chateau Thuerry rosé, a red Bordeaux – Graves Chateau Carolle, a "Feuille de Garance" – Domaine Garance and an "Terrasses du Larzac" from Domaine Crès Ricards. Cheese and cold cuts accompanied this "Tour de France" wine medley!

Our guests and auditors were from Paris, Poland, Sweden, UK, Spain, Italy and the United States. They were captivated by the explination of each wine and its wine grower. A lot of questions were raised and we spent a very nice evening together. New tastings will follow up!
