Clos Marc-Aurèle was named after the son of the family, Marc-Aurèle. The wine is made from 50% Sciaccarellu-, 40% Niellucciu- and 10% Syrah grapes. The grapes are separated from the bunches immediately after harvest and may then be coolmacererated to preserve the natural flavors. After the fermentation, the wine is stored in glass-covered concrete tank which gives a fruity and mellow to the wine.
