“L’Effrontée” Côtes de Roussillon from Domaine de Vénus is a white wine made from 50% Macabeu, 25% Grenache gris, 15% Carignan Blanc and 10% Vermentino. All vines are over 50 years old. The grapes are pressed immediately after the harvest and the must is clarified for a day’s time at 8 ° C (debourbage). The beginning of the fermentation takes place in steel tanks at 16-18 ° and finishes in oak barrels. The wine is then stored for at least a year on the lees before being bottled.
