Luigi Pira – Barbera d’Alba Superiore – Red wine. Fruity and complex, with a good balance between oaky vanilla, spices and wild berries. Made from 100 % Barbera-grapes. The vinification of Barbera d’Alba takes place in horizontal fermenters at a controlled temperature for about 12-14 days. Aging lasts 12 months, divided into small wooden barrels (barrique and tonneau) and large wooden barrels.
